This design project for four villas was commissioned after the Building Permit. The assignment required a comprehensive rethinking of the spaces within all four residential units. While maintaining the existing building envelope, it was essential to optimize the energy performance of each house and enhance interior livability, with a particular focus on spatial flexibility.
To achieve these goals, the decision was made to use a X-lam timber structure, enabling the villas to reach the highest energy efficiency class. Simultaneously, the internal layouts were revised to strengthen connections between indoor and outdoor spaces.
Questo progetto di quattro ville è stato commissionato dopo il rilascio del Permesso di Costruire. L’incarico richiedeva una riprogettazione completa degli spazi all’interno di tutte e quattro le unità residenziali. Pur mantenendo l’involucro edilizio esistente, era fondamentale ottimizzare le prestazioni energetiche di ciascuna abitazione e migliorare la vivibilità degli interni, con particolare attenzione alla flessibilità degli spazi.
Per raggiungere questi obiettivi, è stata scelta una struttura in legno X-lam, che permette alle ville di raggiungere la massima classe di efficienza energetica. Contemporaneamente, sono stati rivisti gli schemi distributivi interni per rafforzare i collegamenti tra spazi interni ed esterni.
