Fondazione Feltrinelli, Milano, 2019
Client: Fondazione Feltrinelli

The proposal envisions the creation of a structural installation to support the cultural activities of the Fondazione Feltrinelli Festival. The intervention area is located on the south-eastern section of the boulevard facing the Foundation’s headquarters. The Festival program includes a wide range of activities—events, meetings, performances, and entertainment—and this project seeks to provide a flexible, adaptable setting.
The stage is composed of two main elements: a metal platform and modular seating. The platform is a horizontal surface (14 × 7 m), supported by a recessed substructure that remains invisible from the outside. It has been designed to ensure a perfectly level stage, compensating for the slope of the existing pavement. The seating modules can be arranged around the platform or assembled and secured directly on it. When detached, they can be reconfigured in multiple ways, forming small audience clusters, benches, or workshop groups.
